We are a small but scrappy media production company based in Northern California. Our mission is to tell powerful stories using compelling visuals and sound. Our moniker evokes the resourceful spirit of the underdog.
Current works:
To come: A film on immigration
Our next project will focus on the stories of immigrants forcibly removed from the United States. The film will tell the stories of how their lives were upended, showing the efforts of deportees to rebuild in the countries they were transported to, and the human costs of an aggressive U.S. immigration policy.
Unhoused Neighbors
Tao Dog is currently in the post-production phase of our first feature film, Unhoused Neighbors. Unhoused Neighbors is an observational documentary that presents the stories of people experiencing homelessness in Sacramento, California: in their words, from their point of view. We hope to provide a window into a little-known segment of our communities that is frequently stigmatized and dehumanized.
